HERA BAG stands for timeless elegance, craftsmanship, and a story that began in the heart of Hannover. Behind every HERA BAG is a vision, a sense of style – and a true piece of Hanover at heart. We believe in quality, individuality, and that fashionable bags can be more than just accessories: they tell stories.

How it all began

In the summer of 2024, founder Christine Bultmann strolled through Hannover’s Luisenstraße carrying a bag she had designed herself—her very first HERA BAG. Little did she know, she was about to set something big in motion: passersby turned to look, stopped her to talk, and wanted to know where they could buy this unique bag. The next encounter took place at the men’s outfitter LO&GO—an encounter that changed everything. Managing Director Rolf Eisenmenger immediately recognized its potential and became the brand’s first mentor.

Our commitment – craftsmanship at the heart of everything we do

Every HERA BAG is personally crafted by Christine Bultmann – using a very special yarn, carefully coordinated colors, and a unique knotting technique. Even if two models have the same dimensions and materials, no bag looks like the other. Because what makes HERA BAG special is the personal touch that shows in every stitch.

Production takes place locally in Hannover - sustainably and with a focus on high-quality materials such as velvet, premium cotton, or acrylic lurex. The HERA BAG is thus a conscious alternative to mass production. It is durable, repairable, and a true piece of sustainable craftsmanship.
